Armed and dangerous – but hey he is a dog!

Can a dog be armed and dangerous? Video might look funny, but things can get pretty ugly if fireworks end up on somebody’s face…

Catching thugs on YouTube – YouTube’s Most Wanted

A guy sneaks into an apartment lobby and steals the leather chairs. Only problem is that he is on the security camera! The edited camera footage was then hosted on YouTube with the title – The Great Chair Heist (Director’s Cut).

It is getting featured all over the place including newspapers and TV channels. He is going to be caught soon… :)

From the gearlog,

f you can’t wait another day for “Ocean’s 13″ then check this out. This past July some guy weaseled his way into the lobby of my building and stole two leather chairs…what he didn’t know was that our security camera caught the whole thing! Luckily a tenant in my building captured the footage, edited it into a silent film and uploaded it to You Tube. You can check out “The Great Chair Heist (Director’s Cut)” here.

Enjoy the video,

Someone has a “copier fetish” and see what happens!

Someone decides to take a photo copy of his bottom and man, he falls in deep trouble! Absolutely hilarious :)

Return to innocence – Enigma music video

Return to innocence by enigma is one of my favorite songs. This single was the first from their second album, The Cross of Changes. A perfect song with a sentimental video which evokes strong emotion. The music video for the song was filmed in Malaga, Spain.

The video shows a man’s life going in reverse, starting with him dying and ending with his birth, where he returns back to innocence.

Driving In India

Traffic In IndiaTraffic in India is utter chaos. But at the same time it is quite efficient. For example, many roads which had smooth traffic suddenly had traffic jams when signals were introduced. Want to know why? Check out the following video.

Driving in India is an adventure sport. So if you are planning to visit India, add this as an adventure item. In fact just sitting in a taxi and watching the driver or road is going to be an unforgettable experience. :)

To many in west this video looks frightening. But for a resident like me it is daily life. The only problem is that you cannot be relaxed when you are driving. One thing this video doesn’t show is the pedestrian behavior (they can jump any second on to the road) which is much more frightening.

William is laughing!

William is laughing! The guy who is running http://www.geekproject.com/ uploaded his son’s laughing video to youtube. It is pretty funny and you are sure to laugh with him!

The Subservient Programmer

The Subservient ProgrammerPeople love to have power over others. So it is no wonder that The Subservient Programmer Web page is very popular!

This is an interactive web page where you initially see a programmer doing his work. Using a text box you can send various commands to him. The Subservient programmer executes all your commands without any complaint. A wide set of commands such as cry, break, dance etc. are supported. The page is good fun and is a good stress buster!

Architecture
The architecture of this cool application is simple enough. A set of keywords is attached to a movie clip. When a visitor types in an action it is matched to one of the keywords. Then the corresponding movie clip is played. The site contains advise on how to create a similar application in Visual Studio Express and provides source code as well. Obviously the hard part is how you shoot the videos! There is also a big set of funny outtakes!
Unfortunately this uses Windows media player as an activex control. Hence it won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t work on anything other than Internet Explorer(6.0+).

Background
In 2005, A Burger King promotional web page The Subservient Chicken won the The cyber won award for the best direct marketing campaign. This page contained a guy in chicken costume(!) obeying all the commands typed in! That is why if you look at the footer of The Subservient Web Page you see the line “Because chickens can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t code.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù It is interesting to note that user experience in The Subservient Programmer is much better than the Subservient Chicken.
